The Innokin dual-coil cartomizer, with two heating coil elements and two oil leading wicks, now contains more e-liquid and has more vapor. Paired with a 650mAh battery, the LEA-Kross combines the merits of the traditional LEA while meeting the current requirements demanded in the market.

The dual-coil cartomizer is a standard 510 carto but much longer. At almost 55mm, it has a maximum capacity of about 1.6ml of e-liquid. Innokin Engineers have designed this model with dual coils in an effort to ensure that the liquid is vaporized uniformly. Feedback on other products showed that some customers complained that with a standard two coil system, the e-liquid could vaporize unevenly, causing one coil to overheat while liquid remained around the second wick. The technology found in this latest product prevents this from happening. Furthermore, the Innokin dual-coil system vaporizes about 2 to 3 times more volume than a regular cartomizer. Because of the strong through-hit performance this product is typically suited to a more serious smoker in terms of vapor volume. In addition, Innokin has stated that they will also have an ultra large dual-coil to match the LEA Kross. Hopefully the capacity will be greater than 2.2ml based on the same length of 55mm.

Standard threads for LEA Kross are 510 but Innokin says that they can produce any threads spcifically requested by customers. Apart from the standard 510 E-Cig threads, the LEA Kross E-Cigarette kit includes three adapter rings which convert the 510 threads to almost all popular cartomizer threads on the market. These adapters are called X1, X2, and X3. Each one is designed to fit a myriad of cartomizer sizes. The X1 fits NJOY NPRO, RN4081, Greensmoke, as well as others. The X2 fits Vapor4Life, Non-branded KR808D-1 kits/cartridges, and Smoke 51 DUO. The X3 fits the European Cigar-Clean, as well as most other common European brands.
